Tonight’s Deep Space sharing of the Larval Mask performance “Migrations” is the culmination of a year-long journey by the international ensemble since they began work on this project last summer at NACL.

As you know, our mission is to support artists at the early stages of new work, but we also work with some to foster single productions throughout the developmental process. Last year this ensemble did not have a name and was at the very early stages of developing story and imagery, some of which was shared at a public presentation in July.

We are very pleased to welcome back this creative team, now called Long Story Short, and their producing partners Dutch Kills Theater for this special preview of the full performance prior to its premiere at The Tank in NYC this coming winter.

We hope some of you in the area will join us tonight at 7:30 and stay after for soup and conversation with the artists! Just a reminder that members get free admission (plus one) to Deep Space Residency presentations.
